Snoop Dogg Is Now An Announcer In NHL 20, Might Mess Around And Become The Next Doc Emrick

For those of you who are somehow unaware, Snoop Dogg is a top 5 Hockey Guy on the planet. The man just lives and breathes for that Puck Life. Whether it's performing in a Mitch Marner London Knights sweater...

Ask any of your so-called hockey fan friends right now which team Mitch Marner played junior for and I bet they wouldn't know that answer as quickly as Snoop would. Or he's performing at the NHL All Star Weekend...

Or just kicking it with Gary B...

I'm telling you right now, there might not be a bigger Hockey Guy out there than Snoop. Like unless you're currently playing or have played in the NHL, how many other people out there do you think own an OHL sweater, have hung out with Gary Bettman, and have touched the ice during an NHL All Star weekend? So being as much of a rink rat as Snoop Dogg is, the Los Angeles Kings brought him on last season to do a little play-by-play action during one of their games and naturally, Snoop crushed it. So much so that I've heard some rumblings that he may be in line to replace Doc Emrick whenever NBC loses out on the next NHL broadcasting rights deal. And to jumpstart the process of Snoop becoming the voice of hockey, he'll now be an announcer in NHL 20.

Hit the pen, fire up some 'Chel, and let the beautifully woven prose of Snoop Dogg open you up to a side of hockey that you never knew existed before. And if anybody out there thinks that this has gone too far already, I've got some bad news for you. Because this is only the beginning. Do you really think there's going to come a day when Snoop Dogg turns down free money? Not a chance. Especially not when he gets to just watch a ton of puck while securing the bag. I just hope that one day he gets to call an Olympic game. "Do you believe in Miracles? Yes!!!" might be on the hot seat if that's ever the case.
