Phillies Start Off The Season 4-0 For The First Time Since 1915 While Bryce Harper Put The Nationals In A Coffin

CBP South is back, baby!!! What a freaking team. And obviously it all started with Bryce Harper single handily sent his former team back to Montreal. I’m sure all 18 Nationals fans were really dissapointed after leaving the game in the 6th inning tonight. It began great for them, too. Ace Max Scherzer struck out Bryce not once, but twice…and then all Bryce Harper did was finish a triple shy of the cycle. Just 3-5 with a double and a moonshot. Ho hum

And it wasn’t just Bryce. 4th starter Zach Efflin struck out a career high 9 thru 5 shut out innings. Odubel Herrera chipped in tres doubles. Maikel Franco had another dinger and is the greatest 8-hole hitter the game has ever seen. This is a complete team through and through. 5+ runs in the first 4 games means this lineup is as thick as it gets. It’s great to see them 4-0 for the first time since the motherfucking Dead Ball era.
