The First Trailer For 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' Is Here And It Looks Like Nostalgia Galore

Premise: "A single mother and her two children move to Summerville, Oklahoma. after inheriting property from a previously unknown relative. They discover their family's legacy to the original Ghostbusters, who have become something of a myth as many have long-since forgotten the events of the 'Manhattan Crossrip of 1984'"

We talked about it a little on LCB and I think our thoughts can be summed up as this: The last Ghostbusters movie obviously sucked ass, but there is no better way to a franchise to reingratiate themselves with us than casting Paul Rudd and Carrie Coon. This trailer seemed...surprisingly good? I never really had a strong emotional connection with the original, but this trailer made me feel something. That's more than most dead-horse-beating remakes can say. The kids wiping the dust off the ghost trap and the Ectomobile?? I think I'm kinda with this. I double checked and watched with Large to make sure I wasn't going insane, and he agreed. Lets ride, Ghostbusters. Besides Rudd and Coon, it also stars Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), McKenna Grace (I, Tonya) and the original crew minus Harold Ramis (RIP). This comes from director Jason Reitman, son of 'Ghostbusters' director Ivan Reitman.
