Eli Manning's Response To Jalen Ramsey Saying Eli Isn't Good: "Who?"
GQ- Eli [Manning]… It’s not really Eli. I think it’s Odell [Beckham, Jr.]. I won’t say Eli’s good, I’ll say Odell’s good. And their connection is good.
THAT’S MY QUARTERBACK!!! I bet most of the QBs that Jalen Ramsey ethered in today’s GQ article will either turtle inside of their shells and avoid going back at Ramsey for what he said. But not Elisha Nelson Manning. He has won too many Super Bowl MVPs and appears on too many of the All-time Top 10 lists for passing records to let a loud DB in Jacksonville get him rattled.

Now while I’m sure Eli Manning couldn’t point out Jacksonville on a map and probably forgot the Jaguars were an NFL team for most of his career, I’m pretty sure he knows exactly who Jalen Ramsey is. At least I hope he does. Eli is the perfect mix of someone that you think would know the name of the best defender he will be facing the first week of the season but also wouldn’t be shocked if he had absolutely no idea who Jalen Ramsey is while also wondering why Tom Coughlin is rooting for the Jaguars instead of coaching the Giants during the game. Riding the Elicoaster is all part of the Eli Manning Experience. I’m just happy Eli went with the “Who” line for the NFL All-Pro he will face Week 1 instead of the “Call him the opposite name” strategy. Nothing is more embarrassing than that.

*I am now lowkey terrified for Week 1 since Eli disrespected Jalen Ramsey like that. I already had Eli penciled in for at least 2 picks and not having any idea if the Giants offense was actually good under Pat Shurmur until Week 2 at the earliest. But I am also THRILLED that Jalen is complimenting Odell before they play each other instead of trying to get prime real estate in Odell’s brain with insults. If Jalen Ramsey could make AJ Green go from a quiet star receiver to a maniac throwing punches and MMA chokeholds during a game, they might as well just suspend Odell for the season right now for whatever nonsense he will do to Ramsey during Week 1*
