Did Gruden Incept Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie Into Retiring Mid-Season?

DRC played every snap for the team until Sunday, where he only played on special teams.  I’m not sure how much of his $1,015,000 contract will be surrendered by the move, but the team will have a little more cash flow and more snaps open for some young guys (Gareon Conley) to develop. I gotta say, I love this move by Gruden.

He basically employed the “boredom room” tactic that Japanese employers are known to use. For those of you who have watched ‘Silicon Valley’ this is what they did to Bighead at Hooli.

That’s big brain thinking baby! Get a little more money and snaps freed up! Now all he has to do is find a way to fool Donald Penn into doing the same thing….
