If You Aren't Using The Fireplaces On YouTube Then You Really Should Be

Before we get started, I wanna address the people who are inevitably going to tell me to clean up the wires around my TVs. Kill yourself. I mean it. This isn’t a joke. This isn’t sarcasm. Go out, buy a gun, put the barrel in your mouth and pull the trigger. If one of you actually kills yourself because of me and I’m asked to apologize for what I said, I’ll refuse. I won’t do it. I’ll go to your funeral and lick the tears right off your mother’s cheek. I’m not cleaning up the wires around my TV. Not now. Not ever. I’ll buy more HDMI cords and randomly place them around my TVs before I do that.

Anyway. Last night I was lounging around watching Sunday Night Football and I decided it was finally time. The weather has been getting chillier and chillier outside with no sign of stopping. It was time to head to YouTube and throw a fireplace on TV #2. Normally TV #2 is reserved for a less-important game or sporting event but it was Sunday night and there weren’t any other games on. YouTube fireplaces really change the mood of the room for the better. My tiny NYC apartment instantly turns into a spacious log cabin in the middle of the woods.

If you don’t have a second TV, I’m sorry. I’m not trying to flex or stunt or show how poor you are by having two TVs. That just so happens to be the set up in my living room but you should really look into getting a second TV. TVs are very very cheap these days. You can get a pretty damn good TV for like $250. The sound quality on the second TV doesn’t have to be top notch because it’s almost always muted anyway. Something to think about if you wanna upgrade your living room setup. Then you can start living that YouTube fireplace life.

There’s a couple choices when picking out which YouTube fireplace you wanna use to #cozy up.

This is the one I use. A 10-hour fireplace. Put it on and forget about it.

The crackling is the best part. It sounds like a real fireplace but it’s actually better than a real fireplace because it can turn into a TV if you need it to.

Or you can do the Christmas instrumental fireplace

That one is a delight.

Or there’s a smooth Christmas jazz fireplace

A bunch of folks started joining in on the #cozy movement after I tweeted my picture

Even Sunday Night Football was into it

Everybody was getting #cozy.

So next time there’s only one important game on TV, and you have two TVs, toss on a YouTube fireplace. See how it makes you feel. See how it makes the room feel. I guarantee you’ll wonder why you’ve never done it before.
