A Guy Tried To Stroll Through Airport Security With A Rocket Launcher Like It Wasn't A Rocket Launcher
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) – A Florida man’s plans to bring a military rocket-propelled grenade launcher back home were shot down after security screeners at a Pennsylvania airport spotted the non-functioning weapon in his checked bag. The Transportation Security Administration says the unassembled parts of the launcher and a replica grenade were found on Monday when an alarm went off as the bag passed through security equipment at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, about 60 miles north of Philadelphia. The man, from St. Augustine, was stopped by police and told officials he thought he could bring the non-functioning launcher onboard in a checked bag. The items were confiscated and he was able to catch his flight to Orlando.
That’s a rocket launcher. It does not matter in the slightest that it’s a non-functioning rocket launcher, that’s a rocket launcher. Nobody knew it was a non-functioning rocket launcher except the guy who was trying to carry the non-functioning rocket launcher through the airport. Everyone else in the airport thought, “Holy shit that’s a fully-functional rocket launcher” as he strolled through the airport and that’s precisely what made this blog possible.
I hate this guy. I really do. I hate anyone who is clearly doing something that’s absurd and ridiculous yet act like the people around them freaking out are the idiots. This dude woke up, grabbed a rocket launcher, walked into an airport (which has a sketchy history with things that can blow up) and then was like, “What’s all the fuss about?” Uhhhhhhhhh bro, you have a mother fucking rocket-propelled grenade launcher in your bag. That’d be like me walking around a mall with a grenade in my hand and being like, “What’s all the fuss about?” as people were diving behind the Sbarro counter. What an asshole.
That’s a rocket launcher. Don’t be an asshole. That’s a rocket launcher. Don’t take it to an airport and pretend it’s not a rocket launcher.
