Wild Video: Dude Went Hang Gliding And The Instructor Forgot To Strap Him In So Yeah, That's Not Great

Ah yes, always good when a video starts that way. My ears perked rightttt up. Like…when you go hang gliding, the person really has one actual job- strap you in. It’d be like getting on a roller coaster and them not bringing the arm straps down. It’s the only thing they have to do, and then you get to stay alive. Like a skydiving instructor giving you a parachute. One job. But alas, this man was not strapped in and he almost had his very own Wedding Crashers moment.

I’d be steaming mad if my hang glider instructor didn’t hook me in. Steaming mad!

Incredible view as he’s holding on for dear life though, can’t deny the view.

If you’re going to die from dropping 1,000 feet, better have a lovely view of Lake Geneva while you’re at it, and that he does.

At this point we are 2 minutes into the video and he’s still just DANGLING there, holding on for his life.

And then finally, at nearly 3 minutes into the video, he finally starts bracing for landing.

And then he stuck the landing….kind of!

All in all, a pretty wild ride and he’s very lucky he was strong enough to hold on and the instructor got him to the ground before he slipped. Only one thing he can do now…..
