Daily Mail - Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Erin Heatherton has reportedly filed for bankruptcy after racking up $560,242.13 in debt as well as battling two lawsuits against her over the past few years.
After 13 years of modeling, the Illinois-born 30-year-old listed only $6,465.57 in total assets and claimed she’s only earned $2,820 this year – according to legal documents obtained by The Blast.
Erin – who earned $226K in 2017 – reportedly listed her most valuable possession as a $945 Jennifer Meyer diamond letter disc necklace, yet she owed $416K to City National and $41K in back taxes to the state of New York.
The bankruptcy news came a year after the former SI Swimsuit stunner sold her two-bedroom West Village apartment for $2.68M following a 2016 lawsuit from her neighbors over ‘unreasonable levels of noise’ – according to WWD.

I have a take. And this is my take- if you are Erin Heatherton, former Victoria’s Secret model, SI swim model, Leo’s ex, and holder of over 800,000 followers on Instagram, you can’t go broke. You just have too many resources and get to know too many people and have too many outlets to make money. And not to be a misogynist, when you look like this
there’s always money to be made. Maybe you have to sell some Fitness Tea. Maybe you gotta start selling some protein drinks. But the fact of the matter is, there’s no reason she should be broke.
But then again…life peaks when you date Leo. After you break up with Leo, it’s all downhill from there. You go back to reality- no more yachts, no more private planes, no more private islands with personal chefs, and worse of all, no more Leo. It’s like living two different lives. So no wonder she’s broke. She probably has been trying to maintain the Leo Lifestyle, even though they broke up in 2012.
But as I said, she should have been able to find the other side. I find it hard to believe she can’t get work. And find it even harder believe she only has $6,000 to her name. She can get more than that with one Instagram post. Or spill some tea (I love that saying) about Leo to Page 6. Join a reality show. There’s so many ways for Erin Heatherton to make money.
