Dak Prescott's Inability To Throw For 200 Yards In A Game Is My Favorite NFL Storyline Right Now
Dak Prescott has been…how do you put this…terrible this year. Those are the words I was looking for. Dak has been absolutely terrible this year. His completion % is fine, but holy shit that AVG.
Take away that week 2 64 yard pass (and he still only finished with 160 total for the game) and you’re looking at one of the worst 3 game start possibly ever.
But it’s not just this season. Go back to last season and now we’re looking at 5 straight games under 200 yards with at least 25 attempts.

I’d like to retract my statement when I said he’s been terrible this year. Terrible is insulting to QBs who are terrible. Dak has been as if Michael Rapaport’s podcast took on the form of an NFL QB. And he’s in rare, elite company:

He went over 300 yards only once. ONCE! And how did he do it? He had an 81 yard completion. Last year he couldn’t tackle the 300 yard plateau, and now this year he can’t even hit 200. It’s incredible. Meanwhile Fitzmagic is setting records for 400 yard games and Fitzmagic is legally able to apply for AARP.
The Dak vs 200 yards showdown is easily my favorite storyline going right now. Watching him play QB makes me giddy. It’s a perfect combo of a bad QB, horrific WRs, and the yips. Dude does not trust his WRs, doesn’t trust himself on throws downfield, and the playcalling is just so bad. Earth to the Cowboys, you have Zeke. He’s very good at football. You used a high draft pick on him. Run him into the ground. Why is the offense being run around a bad QB, his bad O-line, and his bad WRs? I’m very here for it though. The Redskins winning and the Cowboys failing, that’s what I live for.
This week the Cowboys will face the Lions, who have given up an average of 179 passing yards per game vs the Jets, Niners, and Pats. With the Redskins on bye, my focus is squarely on #DakVs200. Hoping the Lions make it 6 in a row.
