You’re probably familiar with The Millennial Generation – people born between 1980-94. We like teamwork and feeling valued and having high self esteem. Most outsiders call us pussies.
Then there’s Joe Cuba’s generation which runs 1910-24. People call it The Greatest Generation. No cute or witty nickname. Just a tip of the cap to people who lived through a Great Depression sandwich served on World War bread.
Both of my grandfathers served. One almost died in the Pacific. Everyone I grew up with had similar stories and all of us can attest that these guys really were the best ever. Tough, proud, mean motherfuckers that put everyone else first. Like they say The Greatest Ever.
