The FBI Has Now Barred the Local Sheriff from That Observatory They Mysteriously Evacuated

Sunspot

SourceSomething strange is happening at the Sunspot Solar Observatory in New Mexico. …

The solar observatory and a nearby post office have both been evacuated and closed until further notice “due to unforeseen circumstances.” But the reasons why the facility was vacated — and exactly when it was vacated — still remain a mystery to the public.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you; however, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Sunspot Solar Observatory, including the site, is temporarily closed, until further notice,” a cryptic message on the observatory’s website says. “Thank you for your understanding.”

The story gets even more mysterious. Otero County Sheriff Benny House told the Alamogordo Daily News that his department has no idea what’s going on and has been asked to remain on standby during the facility’s evacuation. He also said the FBI is involved.

“The FBI is refusing to tell us what’s going on,” House said. “We’ve got people up there that requested us to stand by while they evacuate it. Nobody would really elaborate on any of the circumstances as to why. The FBI were up there. What their purpose was, nobody will say.”

“But for the FBI to get involved that quick and be so secretive about it, there was a lot of stuff going on up there,” he said. “There was a Blackhawk helicopter, a bunch of people around antennas, and work crews on towers, but nobody would tell us anything.”

The FBI shows up to take over  a solar observatory. A freaking telescope aimed at the sun for astronomy buffs and tourists gets shut down by federal agents. The area is evacuated. The public is told nothing. And even local law enforcement is kept in the dark. What do you think the odds are that the “FBI” on the scene is actually a different federal government agency?

I put it at approximately a million percent.

So what possible explanations could there be for government agents to come swooping in to close down Sunspot? Some kind of health scare? No, because that would purely be in the hands of Sheriff House. Some terror threat? Right. To a space telescope in the middle of the New Mexico desert. As if. Besides, if it was, every swinging dick from the Department of Justice would be running in front of cameras to pat themselves on the back for it. How about a chemical spill? The EPA would be all over the place. And, by the way, that is exactly the excuse the government used to evacuated the area around Devil’s Tower, Wyoming in Close Encounters of the Third Kind:

Richard Dreyfus deserved answers then, we deserve answers now. But they’re not forthcoming. And what’s the only conclusion your mature, logical adult brain can draw when the government is looking into something that they won’t share with you or the local authorities?

That there’s something going on they can’t tell us.

So let’s fill in that canvas ourselves. The only reasonable explanation for why you’d have a secret government takeover of a solar telescope is the workers there saw something they shouldn’t. Something the feds didn’t want anyone to see. As I’ve mentioned before, there is a government agency called Unacknowledged Special Access Projects, with a budget of billions that has no congressional oversight and even the Commander-in-Chief doesn’t have the security clearance to know what they do. It’s not a leap to think they exist in part to cover up things like astronomers stumbling onto evidence of UFOs. I’m not claiming they sent Kay and Jay into Sunspot with Memory Eraser sticks. But they don’t have to. There are hundreds of accounts of people who’ve witnessed UFOs only to be threatened, followed and intimidated into silence. That’s exactly what happened in Roswell in 1947. The people who were in the newspapers the following day describing the crash in detail where in the next day’s papers posing with weather balloon scraps saying “Yup! This is what I saw alright!”

What was the difference, 24 hours later? The Department of Defense showed up and ordered them to recant. Or else. That is a documented fact.

We can still hope that the truth about what’s going on at Sunspot comes out. But I wouldn’t hold my breath. There’s either going to be some kind of benign sounding cover story (once they think of one) or weeks, months, years will go by and we’ll realize the story just mysteriously went away. Thoughts and prayers to whichever astronomer there saw whatever someone didn’t want them to see.
