Robbie's Top 10 WrestleMania Video Packages Of All Time - 5. Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 12)

ROBBIETOP10

It’s WrestleMania Season, folks, and I couldn’t be more excited. Pat McAfee and I have been making content surrounding the “Showcase of the Immortals” all week long from the Heartland office, and we’re flying down to the Big Easy tomorrow and taking over ‘Mania weekend like only Barstool can. Last year, I ran a countdown series of my 20 Favorite WrestleMania moments of all time, culminating in a 6000+ word blog on Daniel Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30, so this year I decided I’d shake things up a bit and give you my Top 10 WrestleMania video packages of all time. If you’re a wrestling fan, you probably know that the pre-match promos WWE makes are bar-none the most hype shit of all time, so I’ve complied my favorite ones to share with you every day leading into April 8th.

5. Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 12)

Now this video package, while iconic, is a strange one to have on my top ten list. I don’t wanna call it “so bad it’s good”, but the cheesiness and nineties-ness of it for sure makes me laugh watching it back today. This is one of the first major video packages put together for a WrestleMania main event, and certainly one of the most iconic. It showcases the pre-match preparation that Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart went through to get in the phsyical condition needed to compete in an Iron Man match. There were a few, actually, more than one, so I included the three main ones that aired before that iconic March 31, 1996 encounter. Enjoy!

7. John Cena vs Bray Wyatt (WrestleMania 30)
