Here's an Update Worthy of a Sex Scandal Teacher Hall of Famer. And an Announcement.

It’s rare that a Sex Scandal Teacher ever warrants the coveted “follow up” blog, other than being added to the year end “Sex Scandal Teacher Starting Lineup.” It’s rarer still that anyone would qualify for yet another update. That is the mark of true greatness. The kind of greatness being achieved right here, right now, by 2017 middle-of-the-order power hitter, the instant legend that is the pride of Texas, Sarah Fowlkes.

Here is what I first said about her back in March of last year:

And here is why she is back, a year and a half later:

 A married biology teacher who smirked for a mugshot ‘because she is innocent’ has admitted having sex with a 17 year-old student.

Sarah Fowlkes, 28, submitted the guilty plea Wednesday, despite her lawyer previously dismissing the claims against her after her March 2017 arrest. It will now take up to eight weeks for a judge to decide whether Fowlkes, of Lockhart in Texas should be convicted of having an illicit relationship with a student and jailed for up to 20 years.

Her lawyer Jason Nassour told KVUE that he hoped Fowlkes’ admission would see her handed a suspended four year sentence, be banned from teaching and ordered to pay a fine. …

Fowlkes groveling admission stands in marked contrast to her dismissal of the charges she faced shortly after being arrested – and smiling for her police photo.

Well, while I take issue with the tabloidy phrase “groveling admission,” it is, in fact, an admission. That this fabulous minx had a hands-on approach to teaching biology.

And while Sarah’s attorney submitted it hoping to keep her out of jail and back in her cucked husband’s bedroom where she belongs, you nevertheless can’t plead guilty to something you’re not willing to admit you did. You just can’t. Judges force you to go on the record admitting you did whatever it is you are accused of doing. Under oath. Facing pains and penalties of perjury.

But now is not the time for legal mumbo jumbo. Now is the time to celebrate. And to announce that something I’ve long talked about is soon to become a reality.

There will be a Sex Scandal Teacher Hall of Fame.

Soon enough “SST HOFer” will be more than just an expression we use to describe true greatness. It will be an actual, tangible thing. I will say no more until we roll it out. But suffice to say it’s coming soon and it will be a triumph. And it’s very possible Sarah Fowlkes will be on the ballot.
