BREAKING NEWS: BIZ NASTY IS JOINING SPITTIN’ CHICLETS

HUGE news. Biz Nasty is joining the Spittin’ Chiclets team and the pirate ship. For those who don’t know Biz (everyone knows him, the guy has a million twitter followers), his real name is Paul Bissonnette and he played in the NHL for the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Phoenix Coyotes and he is one funny bastard.

Drafted by the Penguins in the 4th round of the 2003 NHL entry draft, Biz began his pro career the next season in Wheeling, playing for the Nailers. Yup, that’s right. Biz played on a team called the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL. Arguably the coolest name for a team, ever. A few years later, Biz got the call up to the big leagues. He made the Penguins roster out of camp for the 2008-09 season and began a beautiful friendship with his future co-host Ryan Whitney. The boys would reunite again for a cup of coffee with the Blues before the 2014-15 season.

Biz wasn’t necessarily known for his goal scoring touch (7 goals in his NHL career) but holy shit could this guy fight.

So Biz not only brings a little toughness to the pod, but the guy is hilarious and will add a whole new element of the pod helping us connect with hockey fans, at all levels, from all around the world. Biz spent the past season working with the Arizona Coyotes where he has been producing some hilarious content.

Pillow talk:

Bachelor Report:

The guy is clearly a content factory and is going to be a huge addition to the team. Along with adding Biz to the podcast and picking up his documentary ‘Biz Nasty Does Biz’, the addition of Biz Nasty will mean 2 episodes per week for the playoffs along with new ideas, more video, and just a ton more content in general. Biz has a bigger social following than 99% of hockey players past or present and there is a reason for that. He is going to take us to the next level and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
