ECHL Teams Re-enact Revolutionary War Battle During Warmups

Everybody is caught up in the BATTLE that is the months of April, May, and June in the NHL. What you might not realize is that there are similar battles going on in minor league hockey. Guys without the spotlight and TV crews but just as many scars and bruises. This particular video comes from the ECHL’s Colorado Eagles and Fort Wayne Komets who were getting ready to play Game 2 of their Kelly Cup Playoff Conference Final.

There is nothing better than playoff hockey and I’m all in on bad blood… but this is a pretty odd scene. Not many times in 2018 do you see 20 dudes standing face to face like they’re not going to fire until they see the whites of their eyes. I thought I was watching some sort of flash mob about to happen or one of those quirky baseball rain delay skits. No matter how or why it looked like that, but you can bet your ass I’ll be tuned into Game 3 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
