Mets Therapy Session 4: Happy Harvey DFA, Sad deGrom DL Day, And A Winless Home Stand
When KFC and I talked about doing Mets Therapy Sessions this season, we figured we would probably do one every two weeks or so. It would pretty much be a wrap up of what had happened over the last 10-14 days and give us some much needed time to gripe.
Well that was Offseason Clem and KFC, who are two fucking idiots and forgot that being a Mets fan usually means that when one piece of shit hits the fan, five other pieces hit it immediately after as well. That is why I said being a Mets fan is like being the Alonzo Mourning GIF 365 days a year.
So on today’s therapy session, we crawl through the shit of last week which included the official end of the Matt Harvey Era, Jacob deGrom being placed on the DL hopefully being a good thing, getting our shit pushed in by the Baby Braves and Rockies, and watching the other baseball team across town experiencing a complete 180 of what Mets fans just lived through.
