We Are Getting A Mayans MC Show On FX And I AM EXCITED

Get fucking excited. This blog isn’t an ad for FX. I’m just excited. Sons of Anarchy is one of my favorite shows of all time. It’s one of the greatest shows of all time. I miss that universe. SOA ended in 2014 and I’ve missed it dearly. Now it looks like we’re going back in. I loved Better Call Saul for the same reason. I missed the Breaking Bad universe. So it was cool to go back. Hopefully his new Mayans show will be the same things for the SOA universe. I just wanna be around those characters and that vibe. I’m gonna watch the shit outta this show.
You know what the best part of SOA was? I didn’t realize this until after the show ended but every episode was like a bunch of Grand Theft Auto missions. Jax and the boys just ran around town killing people and robbing people and leaving giant messes everywhere. It’s awesome. Not to mention killings and giant messes that they never really had to own up to. For instance, you watch a show like The Wire and everything matters. A character can’t take a sip of coffee and go unnoticed. It was a very real show. SOA? They went the opposite way with it. Jax Teller would go and kill 10 people at a hotel to rescue a member and it would never get brought up again. It was just part of the mission. They’d make it back to Teller-Morrow Automotive and lose all their stars. I hope the Mayans show is just like that.
