Down 1-0. Up 2-1. Down 3-2. Game was nuts. No Wilson. Backstrom hurt. Pens with a million PPs. But the Caps gritted it out. They toughed it out. Trotz finally took DSP off the top line and put on Vrana and it paid off times a million. Kid has all the speed and skill to play with Ovi and man that change made all the difference. Oh and Holtby. Good golly, he is amazing. The Caps allowed the Pens so many point-blank chances and he was there for all them. Incredible game from Holtby.
What a gutty, gutty win. One more til it’s the ECF. #CapsYear for me one time!!!!
