Wake Up With Prince Fielder Hitting A Walk Off Home Run And Finishing It With The Best Celebration Ever
Fun Fact- I love Prince Fielder, always have. I loved how fat he was, I loved how he used to drop straight up BOMBS, I loved that he said he was a 300 pound vegan, I loved that he would eat fan’s nachos. I love the videos of little fat Prince hitting homers at Tigers Stadium. This is probably my favorite Prince moment though, a walk off homer against the Giants in the bottom of the 12th. So how does Prince and the crew celebrate? A good old fashioned bomb celly.
Imagine how upset Brian McCann was when he saw Prince do this? If he were on the Giants he would have had an aneurism and then attempted to murder the entire Brewers team in the parking lot. When it comes to a team celebration, it doesn’t get much more emasculating than an entire team acting as if a bomb went off and falling around home plate. Just an overall fantastic celly by the team, I love that they already had it planned out as well. I’d like to think Prince brought it up in a team meeting and just floated the idea out there.
Now this happened in 2009, but I would love to see something like this happen in today’s game just to see the INSANE takes from old beat writers on twitter. Probably tons of talk about the disgusting act that occurred in Milwaukee, a lot of “how do I explain this to my kids”. The whole thing would just be great. But let’s be real, if this happened today, the entire team would get fastballs to the earhole because some pitcher would talk about unwritten rules and respecting the game.
So thank you, Prince Fielder and the 2009 Brewers for this fantastic celebration. I’d like some more like this in the future.
