Another day at the office for Mad Max. This is past the point of ridiculous, it’s just machine-like. As if he’s programmed with AI to be the most dominant pitcher ever. It just insane.

Strikeouts per start this year: 10, 7, 10, 11, 9, 10.

He’s leading the MLB in strikeouts, his ERA is 1.62, and he can throw this filth, shout out Pitching Ninja!

The best news of the day might not even have been Max though. We know what he’s capable of night in and night out. So the best news had to have been Trea Turner going 5/6, raising his average a whopping 35 points. Trea has been struggling at the plate this season, so for him to break out like that was very reassuring, probably both for him and Nats fans alike. He also had another steal, putting him at a perfect 10/10 in swiping bases this season. If both Trea and Michael A Taylor can get going, it is dangerous out on them base paths, as MAT is a perfect 9/9 on steals this year. Just imagine if they are both hot, and then Murphy comes back into the lineup and can protect Bryce. Soon, my friends. (I hope). Soon.
