The Kenny Powers tribute brought a tear to my eye and drip in my pants but I still came away more impressed with how Tex dismantled Houston Texans d-tackle DJ Reader. Although he’s a massive fan of the triple-option, I’ve never seen Tex do “good” playing Madden 18. His beyond-a-gunslinger mentality doesn’t lack confidence. Just A LOT of execution. But this time was different.

T’s and P’s to DJ Reader for unknowingly walking into such a gridiron buzzsaw slash thunderdome of shit talking too. Of course Tex didn’t hold back in that department and although DJ nearly pulled off a comeback for the ages, ultimately he had to face the harshest reality of all. Check back Thursday night before the NFL Draft for another Tex Madden experience. This time it’ll be a slightly tougher task as he takes on Madden Pro/CHAMPION Frank Sardoni Jr with Smitty next in his gunslingin’ crosshairs. Due for a W indeed.
