This Driver That Received 8 Months In Jail After Flipping Off Police Traffic Cameras 3 Different Times Is The Face Of A Revolution

(Source)- A company director who fitted a laser jammer to his Range Rover and made rude gestures as he drove past police safety cameras has been jailed. Timothy Hill, 67, threw the device in a river behind his home in Grassington when he found out that officers had launched an investigation. But today he was jailed for eight months at Teesside Crown Court and banned from driving for a year for perverting the course of justice.

Hill drove past North Yorkshire Police’s mobile safety camera vans on the A19 near Easingwold, Thirsk and Crathorne on three occasions in December. On all three occasions, he was photographed gesturing at the camera with his middle finger. Police also detected a laser jammer on his white Range Rover. Officers began an investigation and Hill initially lied about where the vehicle was and tried to destroy the jammer.

Police were unable to ascertain his speed but charged him with perverting the course of justice, which he pleaded guilty to at court. The judge who jailed Hill said such actions “strike at the heart” of the justice system and his sentence must act as a deterrent to others.

“Drivers who fit laser jammers may mistakenly feel smug about ‘getting one over’ on the police. But we can tell if motorists are using these devices, and we will always endeavour to bring them to justice.”

There’s a war going on outside no man is safe from, it don’t matter if you three feet or eight-one. That’s right, I’m talking about the war against speed cameras. It all started a few months ago with the guy that beat the everliving shit out of a speed camera.

Then continued with the silly son of a bitch that sat with an umbrella open directly in front of a speed camera.

And now we have Timothy Hill. While the other two participants in this movement were anonymous, Timmy’s face and fingers are out there for the entire world to see. He is the Stone Cold Steve Austin of the speed camera revolt. Throwing up the middle finger at all his enemies and getting absolutely RAILROADED by the Powers That Be for being brazen. Eight months in jail and a year without driving for owning a jammer and flipping three birds directly into The Man’s eyeball? What a fucking joke. That judge must wet his beak and his dick with the money made by those evil speed traps. And listen to the guy that was in charge of the “investigation” of a guy flipping of traffic cameras.

Traffic Constable Andrew Forth, who led the investigation for North Yorkshire Police, said afterward: “If you want to attract our attention, repeatedly gesturing at police camera vans with your middle finger while you’re driving a distinctive car fitted with a laser jammer is an excellent way to do it. “It’s also an excellent way to end up in prison. As Hill’s case shows, perverting the course of justice is a very serious charge which carries a custodial sentence. “It’s our job to keep road users safe across all 6,000 miles of North Yorkshire’s roads. Mobile safety camera vans are an important tool to do that – they are proven to reduce collisions and they help save lives.

Now I’m sure some Stoolies would say that getting thrown in jail for a speed jammer and flipping the bird is the most ridiculous thing you can go to jail for. But others would disagree.

Nonetheless, I ask you to stay strong Timmy and know that the millions of us that have been wronged by speed cameras and questionable radar guns support you from afar as our Gandhi of the guard rail.

P.S. The only speeding ticket I have ever gotten in my life was on the Taconic in a bumblefuck town called Claverack, NY before my sophomore year at Siena. I drove back to that cow fucking town to fight it a few months later and was somehow the only person out of 20 to have his appeal denied. Ever since that day, I spit out the window and flip both middle fingers whenever I see the Claverack sign. So this story, as well as Timothy Hill’s struggle, holds a special place in my heart.
