Hate To See Former Phillies Great Pedro Martinez Getting Clocked In The Kisser By Harold Reynolds

Petey nooooooo! You never want to see one of your hometown greats go down in any fashion. Especially a hero, nay, legend as Godly as Pedro Martinez. Just saddens the heart. His time donning the P on his hat was the best months of Pedro’s career and life, and shall never be forgotten. The man was a straight baller for the Phils, and will always be remembered for dominating the game in red.

Good to see Pedro bounced right back up just like after getting shelled in Game 6 (still blame Cole Hamels for that series, btw). At least Harold Reynolds has learned to keep his actual hands to himself when messing with people in the workplace. Regardless, you don’t mess with former major leaguers who get a free hack on a softball or the tee. We almost learned that the hard way when we gave Rhys Hoskins his much needed hitting lesson last season. That Hardo Carrabis wanted to do this bit with an actual baseball…and I had zero issues with that. Thank GOD there were actual adults present to shoot down that idea.

PS – We’ve seen it before, and we’ll say it again: ’99 Pedro for the Red Sox (his best team, obviously, you sheep) was not human. His fastball was basically was fired out of a freaking gun. Absolutely unreal gas.
