Munenori Kawasaki, One Of The Most Electric Baseball Players Of All-Time, Has Called It A Career
It is with great displeasure that I have to relay this message. After being released by his team in Japan, Munenori Kawasaki will officially retire from professional baseball. Even though he only averaged 55 games a year over five major league seasons, his impact was felt far and wide as he was one of the most charismatic and electric players the game has ever seen. His interviews were must watch television, his championship celebrations were legendary, his dugout antics were captivating, and he was a phenom in the karaoke game. He truly did live his life like a candle in the wind. Thank you for all the memories and the laughs, Muni. The baseball world is a lesser place without you.
