Stephen Hawking Has Died At The Age Of 76

Well damn. The smartest dude in the world has died. I have written many blogs about Stephen Hawking over the years.

We had a rivalry that he never knew about. I disliked how everything he said was so doom and gloom.  He was a negative Nancy. He was a Debbie downer. He was a wet blanket. He was constantly telling us how the human race was gonna end or how aliens were gonna come and suck our brains out with a straw or how artificial intelligence robots were gonna rise up and kill us all.

But you know what? At the end end of the day, he’s gonna be right. The pessimists are always right and I respect the fuck out of it. Things are probably only gonna get worse as we keep spinning around on this blue rock. Aliens are gonna kill us or AI is gonna kill us or nuclear war. So I respect Stephen Hawking for shooting it straight even when I wanted everything to rainbows and cotton candy. Depressing? A little. Correct? You betcha. You need people like him. He was a formidable foe. RIP.
