David Wright Was Re-Examined By A Doctor Yesterday And Shockingly Things Are Not Looking Good!

Will somebody pleeeeeease stop David Wright from going to the doctor? Or at least make everybody involved with these visits oblige with all of the HIPAA privacy policies? I’ve buried David Wright too many times in my mind and can’t deal with grieving the loss of my favorite player anymore. You gotta stop talking about it. It’s like “The Sopranos.” It’s OVER. Find a new player with injury issues to report about. Lord knows the Mets have no shortage of those.

To be honest, I just want the memory of David Wright to fade away like he is one of those ghosts from Field of Dreams walking into a corn field. It’s bad enough getting the annual update of the Wilpons sending a Brinks truck to Bobby Bonilla’s house from that asshole Rovell. Mets fans shouldn’t have to be subjected to the reminder that their beloved captain and all around great human is one of the superstars from this generation that lost it all due to injuries. It’s kinda like the 2006 season. I want to convince myself that the Mets won the World Series on Endy Chavez’s catch in Game 7 of the NLCS and that David Wright scored this run against the Nationals, pumped his fist, then the season ended due to a strike and the Mets won the championship based on a technicality.

I don’t even want to hear about Wright if by some miracle he makes it back to even a rehab assignment like he did last year (before getting hurt two games into it). I want a No David Wright Update Policy until he retires or is on the 25 man roster. Just let The Captain #RIPInPeace.
