DeAndre Ayton Blatantly Cheats At 2K And It's Now The Main Reason He Should Be The Top Pick In The Draft

Noted large human being DeAndre Ayton went out last night and gave UCLA a light 32 & 14 with 2 blocks and 2 steals on a crisp 13/16 from the field to advance Arizona to the Pac 12 Championship game. All season there has been much debate about who should be the top pick in this June’s Draft and last night Ayton added to his already impressive résumé. Not with his statline, but in his postgame press conference when he dropped this tidbit from the clouds.

Most people see this as a sign of weakness or insecurity. Those people are missing the forest for the trees. Absolutely no one in that locker room has tried to stop DeAndre from playing this way OR someone did try and stop him and promptly ended up duffed in the head, leaving him on the brink of consciousness while birds and stars circled around his cranium as cartoons have taught us. There’s no question in my mind he has started games without remembering to shut fatigue off, realized several minutes in and forced a restart to which no one else in the room even scoffed.

If that’s not the sign of a true leader, a visionary, a guy who plays by his own rules, the type of player who changes a culture, then I don’t know what is. I’d bet good money DeAndre Ayton traded Kevin Durant to the Warriors two years before he actually signed there in real life.
