Well we are officially deep into the Jets Twilight Zone. The Jets are always a circus. They are always a dumpster fire. But its always about how hot that fire burns. Yellow flame? Orange flame? Mo Wilkerson’s mom trashing Manish Mehta on Boomer and Gio is some Blue flame shit. Dysfunction on a whole new level.

Now listen, Manish Mehta is a weasel rat fuck. He’s the king of anonymous sources. Hes the king of clickbait. He’s the troll of all trolls and he’ll do anything for clicks. Nothing is off limits for him, and everything becomes personal. And his feud with Mo Wilk is the dirtiest, most personal feud of all. Now, to be fair, Manish ended up being very very accurate about Mo being a lazy bum. I can vividly remember thinking Manish sounded like a fucking moron hounding Wilkerson when, at the time, he appeared to be nothing but a rising star and a seemingly perennial Pro Bowler. But when it was all said and done, Mo proved him 100% correct. Not sure if Manish got lucky, and a personal enemy just ended up fucking up his career and affording Manish the chance to dance on his grave. Or if Manish actually saw more and knew it was coming. Either way, Manish is now seeing red and trying to run up the score as Wilkerson is down and out, and thats where people are now extra pissed off at him for crossing the line with this alcoholism angle.

That tweet about Wilkerson being in New Orleans feels like your buddy who always goes to far with busting balls. The dude who yells “Your mom has cancer!” when you say you dont like his shirt or something innocuous. The jump to “This dude is an alcoholic!” seems pretty fucking extreme. If you’re asking me do I think Manish Mehta has completely fabricated the idea that Mo has had some alcohol related issues, my answer to that would be no. I doubt that its completely unfounded and made up. But the question is whether its like “Mo was late to a meeting because he was hungover” or “Mo wakes up and hits the bottle every morning and thats why his career is plummeting.” In either scenario though, if you start accusing someone of having substance abuse problem when they are looking for another job, it looks like a pretty shitty fucking move. When you combined the personal nature of that statement along with Manish’s reputation, it just comes off as a real low blow from a petty guy. He might be entirely correct on this claim but the point here is the reputation hes earned and the way he’s going about continually attacking Wilkerson even though he’s not even on his beat anymore. I would call it the nail in the coffin for a lot of Jets fans who read his work but the reality is this is like the 10th nail in the coffin along with the 6 feet of dirt. No Jets fan likes him and its like he’s gone full heel, full villain, full troll with these latest comments.

Shout out to Mama Wilkerson for defending her son but honestly the best bet for Manish is just to ignore his nonsense. Like letting a baby cry itself to sleep.
