The "Shows" Page Is The Best Thing On Barstool That Not Enough People Know About
So judging from the amount of clicks and usage we’ve seen, a ton of people are loving the new Shows page we installed. However it has also come to my attention that a lot of people also don’t know about it. I realized this when I chatted with Donnie earlier and said hey you should try to push your Show page a lot because your stuff is so good we don’t want it to get lost in the mix, and he replied he didn’t know the Shows page went live. Then Nate told me he thinks we should have some sort of Netflix-style page where people can get all their favorite video content in one easy place. That’s when it dawned on me. We should promote this better. That’s on us. Sharing information isn’t our strongest area.
So if you’re one of the many who hasn’t checked it out yet, I IMPLORE you to hit up the Shows tab at the top of Barstool. It solves the biggest problem we’ve had the whole time I’ve been here – content getting buried. We post 95-125 blogs and videos a day. If we don’t get the timing exactly right and have everything coordinated, an unreal video could easily get bumped down the page within 5 minutes.
That sucks. We know your time is valuable and we want you to consume the massive amounts of content we put out as easily as possible. That’s why we set up the Shows page. Your one stop shop for all content from all your favorite shows and personalities. For example, Donnie’s own personal page with ALL his videos on there for you to binge.
We’ve got 11 on there right now to start. Goal is to get everyone on there as soon as we can. Francis obviously. Anyone that puts out videos having a dedicated page to all of their work.
A shockingly good solution that it only took us 15 years to arrive at.
