I Love Magic Tricks
This was RT’d onto my timeline, and I don’t know what else to say, but I love magic tricks. They are mind blowing. I could watch magic tricks all day, every day. David Blaine, love that guy. Have you ever been on the receiving end of a magic trick? That’s the craziest shit ever. Because sure, you can watch magic on TV and be skeptical like “they edited it” or something like that, but when you’re literally the person holding the card in your mouth with your signature on it, that’s the insane thing. Because you KNOW he didn’t take the card out of your mouth because you’re right there! The card was in your mouth! But somehow yours becomes his and his becomes yours, it doesn’t make any sense at all. One time at the beach there was a magician on the boardwalk and I was holding a small token thing in my hand, and then he snapped his fingers, and it wasn’t in my hand anymore. I know as 1000% fact I did not drop it out of my hand. My hand was firmly and securely shut in a fist the entire time. I haven’t a clue what happened to the token. Just gone. Not in my hand anymore. I find the whole concept of magic, and magicians coming up with brand new tricks simply incredible. Like, they have to be the smartest people in the world. Wraps my mind into a pretzel just thinking about it.
