Iowa's Jordan Bohannon Admits He Purposely Missed Free Throw So Chris Street Could Keep Record

What a legend. What a cool thing to do. If you’re not from Iowa you might not fully understand why this is such a big deal but Jordan Bohannon will be an legend in Iowa forever going forward. This is the type of thing people will always remember.  I’m even up for retiring Bohannon’s jersey in the rafters of Carver. Chris Street died in a car accident in 1993 just three days after making his 34th consecutive free throw. Bohannon had made 34 free throws in a row and purposely missed so Street could still hold the record. So Bohannon and Street now share the record. Goosebumps on goosebumps when Bohannon pointed to the sky after missing the free throw. In that interview you hear him talk about how close he’s become with the Street family and how important he is to the state of Iowa. Anyone who has a problem with what he did is heartless and has a big dump in their pants.
