Powerful Video Of Marco Rubio Debating A Seventeen-Year-Old During A Town Hall Debate

You can read the full article on Senator Rubio’s town hall here. Politics isn’t in my or Barstool’s wheelhouse so I’m going to tread lightly but I thought this video was too interesting not to share. The actual conversation isn’t anything new, people have been fighting over gun rights for years. It’s the age of the people involved in the conversation. Cameron Kasky is a junior in high school and he’s standing on a stage debating passionately with Marco Rubio. Francis made a great point on Barstool Breakfast the other day and I wish I had pulled the footage because it stuck with me. He said something to the effect of “if you are a young person, and you want something to change, get off your ass and do something about it.” And that’s exactly what’s happening. Young people are coming together to work towards creating actual change. It’s sad that it took a tragedy to make it happen but that’s the world we live in.  Whether or not anything comes to fruition has yet to be seen, but this is the first step. Everyones deserves a voice, especially these kids.

Side note: It’s always great to see a politician debate a non-politician because they don’t know how to act. Marco clearly hasn’t learned anything since the Trump days. He got owned so bad I almost felt bad for him. Almost.
