Alexis Ren is your Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2018 Rookie of the Year! The 21-year-old California native won the annual vote in which fans and readers decide who is their favorite SI Swimsuit rookie.

Previous Rookie of the Year winners include SI Swimsuit legends Chrissy Teigen (2010), Kate Upton (2011), Nina Agdal (2012), Kate Bock (2013), Sara Sampaio (2014), Kelly Rohrbach (2015), Barbara Palvin (2016), and Bianca Balti (2017).

We did it, fam! So proud of all of us. It’s like when you start following a prospect in single A ball, and then they work their way up to the major leagues, and then they have that huge season and win rookie of the year. Basically Alexis Ren is Bryce Harper. She started out as just an “Instagram model” and now she is a bonafide superstar, winning the SI Swimsuit Rookie Of The Year. She joins names like Teigen, Upton, and Agdal…ever heard of them? Pretty good company in my opinion. I don’t know if Ren could do it without us.
