I Feel Personally Victimized By All Of These NHL Players Actively Rooting For The Vikings During Games

Minnesota is a hot bed for hockey so it would make sense that there are a decent amount of Minnesota natives currently playing in the NHL. As Minnesota natives, plenty of these guys grew up as Vikings fans. Which, for at least the next week, makes them public enemy numero uno. Guys like Brunsville, Minnesota native Brock Boeser who was in Minnesota yesterday playing against the Wild when Stefon Diggs scored the game winning touchdown to win a trip to the beautiful city of Philadelphia next weekend. Kind of messed up to be actively rooting for Minnesota while you’re currently playing a game against them but I guess loyalty to the squad means nothing to these guys. Same thing applies to Plymouth, Minnesota native Blake Wheeler as he joined in on the SKOL chant during the Jets’ game against the Wild on Saturday night.

What makes this even worse is the Jets ended up losing this game 4-1 while their captain was fraternizing with the enemy. Sad!

All I’m saying is that I’ve dedicated my life to guys like Boeser and Wheeler. The least they could do is not flaunt their Vikings fandom in my face during what will be the biggest week for Eagles fans in a decade. Have a little bit of respect, guys. And here’s the cherry on top. The Jets will be playing against the Canucks on Sunday night while the Eagles Vikings game is on. Hopefully we’ll get some tears on both benches whenever the camera cuts to them once the NFC Championship game wraps up and the Vikings are heading back to Minnesota to start their offseason and the Eagles are heading to Minnesota for Super Bowl 52. Go Eagles and go everybody playing against Vancouver and Winnipeg this week. (I think they’re both on their bye weeks but still).
