Blake Bortles Says That He's Fine With Being Trash

This whole conversation started after the Jaguars beat the Texans 45-7 on Sunday. After the game, Houston’s defensive end Jadeveon Clowney said that Bortles was trash. In the past, I would have said that Clowney was right. Not recently, though. Ole Blake has been dropping some dimes and did so on Sunday as well. Saying that a Qb is trash after he beat the brakes off your team is a weird move. Bortles was 21-29 for 329 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 picks despite sitting the 4th quarter.

In December, Blake Bortles has an average QB rating of 129.1, and has thrown 7 TD’s and zero picks. Beyond, the Jaguars have won 7 of their last 8. If that’s trash, I agree with Blake. Keep being trash.
