Walmart Sells, Then Immediately Pulls, Weed Christmas Tree From Their Website

Source-  Walmart is selling a “Weed Marijuana Leaf Christmas Tree” this season. (At least it was until Wednesday afternoon when the retailer pulled the tree from its website, though cookie cutters shaped like marijuana leaves remained for sale on the site.)

Ornaments and bow are not included with the 7-foot faux Tannenbaum, which has a street, er, retail value of $250. The tree’s description on the Walmart website is sprinkled with token puns.

“This Pot Leaf Christmas tree will ‘light up’ the room and put your mind in the right head-space for holiday cheer,” it reads.

“You’ll be able to relax and giggle at the marijuana leaves and decorate it as you please. This alternative Christmas tree is perfect for personal top shelf life at home or as a medical dispensary decoration. Green Wishes and Happy Holidhaze!”

“Walmart also sells marijuana leaf cookie cutters which, while not specifically geared towards Christmas, can certainly be used to make Christmas cookies (cannabis infusion optional)!”

If you read this article and thought about buying this tree, you are a trash human being. Imagine walking into someone’s house and seeing this? What do you say? “Oh you like to smoke?…Cool.” The people who buy this tree are the same people who put beer cans on theirs. I’m not sure why Walmart took it down but I’m glad they did. Christmas is about getting lit on Christ, not the weed. Don’t get me wrong, if you want to take a walk with your cousins after dinner, go for it. But don’t make it the centerpiece of your holiday.

Credit to whoever wrote the description though.

Those are some solid puns. Clearly written by someone who used to cop lids. I don’t know if this was an attempt at trying to be cool like say, Amazon, but I respect the hustle. I wonder how many people actually bought it. I can’t imagine any stoners were able to complete the order, it wasn’t up long enough. They need at least a month to make up their mind. And if they spend the two-fifty on fake weed, they won’t have two-fifty to spend on real weed.
