Eli Manning Returns To End The Cowboys Season

Poor Eli Manning. My only issue with his benching last week was that it was for proven loser Geno Smith & not their 2017 3rd round draft pick Davis Webb. If the true reason behind sitting your franchise QB is to take a look at what you might have for the future, it’s Webb who needs to see snaps. Not Geno fucking Smith. Now, just a week after breaking Eli’s consecutive games streak for no reason other than to humiliate him, Reese & McAdoo have been (rightfully) scapegoated with pink slips while Manning is back under center. What a shit show.

What’s done is done though. The fans rallied behind their 2-time Super Bowl MVP as soon as the benching news broke & now get to give him the respect he deserves at MetLife this afternoon. I know there’s draft position at stake but all I want to see today is Eli bury the Cowboys’ minimal playoff hopes. I don’t wanna see a single run. Throw, throw, then throw again against a highly suspect Dallas pass defense. I don’t care about a lack of competent targets (although Shepard will play) or offensive line – there’s no way #10 doesn’t rise to the occasion with one of his best games of the season to put the final nail in the Cowboys’ coffin.
