WGNO – During the holidays you’re most likely to see cute Santa decorations or beautifully lit trees, but in the Bywater neighborhood in New Orleans there’s a home with something a little different. The decorations depict Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer being cooked on an open fire. You may want to cover your children’s eyes when you walk by. Poor Rudolph! Leave Rudolph alone! We need him to light the way for Santa’s sleigh! The home is located on Royal Street not far from Markey’s Bar.
I’m upset. I’m triggered. I know it’s not cool to be triggered in 2017 but I’m triggered. Don’t you dare do Rudolph the red nosed reindeer like that. What did Rudolph ever do to you? Answer me that. Bring about too much joy? Help guide Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve and deliver presents to kids all over the world? Have a banger holiday jingle made about him? Tell me what he did to deserve this! Explain yourself! Exactly. You can’t come up with anything. How does it feel to make make a mockery of someone who was bullied? Pretty messed up. People forget that all of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names. Now these hooligans are portraying his death. I hope they can sleep at night.
That shit is very graphic. How am I supposed to explain that to my kids? I mean you can see his ribs! You know what, these people are just confused. That’s a Halloween decoration. Wrong month, idiots. Christmas decorations are supposed to remind you of egg nog and cheer. Not a Saw movie. The thing that makes me the most triggered is they definitely think they’re being super edgy. They’re the talk of the neighborhood with their disgusting display and they’re loving every second of it. Sad. It just makes me sad.
