Trump Wastes No Time Piling On Matt Lauer

Trump’s a big time thrive in the mud guy so he sure as hell ain’t gonna miss opportunities to drag others in there with him. It’s where he’s at his best. It’s where he shines. He and a certain large-nosed, hobbit-like creature I work with have that in common. They’re out of sorts upon any high road but you toss them in the mud, they’re kicking ass and taking names. Next name? Matt Lauer.

It is quite obviously absurd that our sitting president, who’s been accused by 16 women of sexual misconduct, launches attacks on others accused of similar things. The LA Times summarizes those accusations:

They say he grabbed their breasts and genitals, and kissed them without permission. Beauty pageant contestants say he strolled uninvited into rooms where they were naked and vulnerable. None of the women is hiding behind anonymity. They are on the record. The White House spokeswoman has said they are all lying.

His infamous “locker room talk” only adds to the absurdity.

Always fascinating to note: Billy Bush was fired for this, while Trump became president shortly after. It’s a wild world we’re living in — amazingly, Trump’s the most powerful person in it.
