Trump Ruthlessly Piles On Al Franken, References 1995 Rape Joke
Donnie will never be one to miss a chance to pile on. To attack. To bury an opponent who’s on the ropes. Al Franken in the trenches taking grenades all day yesterday for allegedly force-kissing and definitely pretend-groping a woman in 2006… and then at 10PM Trump comes in hot with another haymaker.
What’s going on in pictures 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15… 12,000,000 while she sleeps? Hmmmmmmm
Of course he did not stop there.
This is a reference to a 1995 NY Mag piece, as Fox News describes.
Franken, then a comedian, was quoted in a 1995 New York Magazine article discussing a skit for “Saturday Night Live” that involved drugging and raping CBS reporter Lesley Stahl. Franken, at the time a writer for “SNL,” suggested one skit should play out with “60 Minutes” commentator Andy Rooney finding an empty pill bottle on his desk.
“’I give the pills to Lesley Stahl. Then when Lesley is passed out, I take her to the closet and rape her.’ Or ‘That’s why you never see Lesley until February.’ Or, ‘When she passes out. I put her in various positions and take pictures of her,’” Franken was quoted saying.
Maybe no bigger pile on guy in the game than Trump.
Notably, as of the time of this writing he has remained silent on the allegations against Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore. Those broke last week. By my latest count, we’re at 9 women in that one.
