Brett Ratner Won't Be Involved In 'Wonder Woman 2' After Gal Gadot Declared That Wonder Woman Wouldn't Be In The Movie If He Was

I’m not sure if anyone blogged this story a few days ago, but Gal Gadot (AKA Wonder Woman) reached out to Warner Bros and let them know that if Brett Ratner was involved in the Wonder Woman sequel, she wouldn’t appear in the movie. Like, she literally told the people who make Wonder Woman movies that if this dude was connected to the next Wonder Woman movie in any way, Wonder Woman wouldn’t be there. Fucking GANGSTER move. As KFC pointed out last night, it’s some real life superhero shit.

This is of course because Brett Ratner is among the many scum in Hollywood being accused of sexual harassment and misconduct right now. She HAAAAAATES this motherfucker and wouldn’t even present him an award recently, for good reason. Multiple women have come out against him in the past few weeks. With Gadot pointing this out and trying to publicize it as much as possible, Warner Bros had their hands forced. It has now been confirmed by Gadot herself that Ratner is out. Not involved. One for the good guys.

Let’s hope this chain of big wigs being exposed for taking advantage of their power continues, takes as many perverts down as possible, and cleans up the industry. I know how unlikely that is, cleaning the whole industry up, I get it, but you gotta hope. Rebellions are built on hope.

One of my favorite artists released on song about this issue a few years ago, and unfortunately it’s as timely as ever right now, but it’s really worth a listen. It’s powerful stuff.
