Max Scherzer The GOAT Just Won The Cy Young For The Second Year In A Row

The face when you win the Cy Young back to back years:

Just an amazing pitcher. Third Cy Young, and now he’s won it back to back years. Amazing durability, amazing consistency, and an amazing pitcher to watch every 5 games. Every time he’s on the mound you feel he could strike out 20 or throw a perfect game. He joins just 9 other pitchers in the 3 time Cy Young Club, with the likes of Clemens, Koufax, Maddux, Pedro, and Randy Johnson.

I guess it’s safe to say some MLB execs were a bit off on this one:

He’s lived up to his side of the contract, it just sucks so, so, so bad the Nats haven’t been able to put it together in the postseason. I mean him and Stras were both top 3 pitchers this year, and a stacked lineup, man. Looking back on this season, so many “what ifs” will go through our minds. But one thing is for sure, Max is an amazing person and pitcher and I look forward to him going for back-to-back-to-back next season.
