Markelle Fultz's Foul Shot Is SHOOK

Yikes. That’s not a foul shot. That’s a foul juggle followed by a foul throw. Not the best look for the #1 overall pick. If I were in charge I may lock him in an empty gym with the great Herb McGee until this shit gets fixed or time stops. Whichever comes first.

The major cause for concern is Brett Brown basically said Fultz is a self-motivator and was tweaking some stuff on his own. Um…why??? Here is a direct text from my buddy this morning who summed it up rather eloquently for a Philadelphia faithful:

‘Quick Tuesday morning rant who the fuck is responsible for sitting back all offseason and allowing fultz to change his jumpshot??? I’m fucking disgusted.. how does that happen?Was there no one fuckin around to tel him “don’t do that”. What the fuck’

And he makes a semi-literate point. It’s not like Fultz has been slipping under the radar during this drastic transformation. He’s been working out in Camden with fellow players and the coaching staff all Summer. Why didn’t anyone of authority or knowledge come over the top and tell him that shit is U-G-L-Y? Weird and wild stuff. Things have obviously changed since UW at the dish, and not exactly for the better.

Not the best, but keep in mind Fultz is a natural born scorer. As a freshman at Washington, he notched 23.2 PPG on 47.6 percent shooting from the field and 41.3 percent shooting from three. Pretty damn good if you ask me, or anyone.

The fact of the matter is this: Fultz is 19-years-old. He’s the #1 overall pick for a reason. People are dissecting his pre-season free-throw form like they’ve found Patient Zero and are scouring its corpse for the root of AIDS. Maybe we just gotta relax and let things play out for a bit before derailing this kid’s career. They’ll be plenty of time for that. ‘Till then, time to Trust it. Trust it all.
