Danny Trevathan Should Absolutely Be Suspended For His Disgusting Hit On Davante Adams Last Night

I’m sick to my goddamn stomach watching that. Davante Adams caught a harmless 3rd and long pass that was nowhere near being enough for a first. The play was dying down and in comes Danny fucking Trevathan to deliver a soul crushing, disgusting hit to the head, knocking Davante Adams out.

The Packers blew the doors off the Bears last night and I couldn’t even enjoy it after this shit. Watching that play in real speed is nothing short of sickening. I wanna throw up.  Trevathan should be suspended for a while after that. I haven’t seen a more disgusting hit on a defenseless receiver like that in a long, long time.

After the game he seemed like he had no intention of the dirty hit, but he also claimed he didn’t hit Davante in the helmet, which he obviously did. At the end of the day it was as dirty as it gets from one of the hardest hitting guys in the league and I expect a suspension coming. How the fuck did he not get ejected?

Thank God Davante was able to give the concerned Lambeau Crowd a thumbs up as he was carted off the field.

To be honest it’s a miracle he’s not paralyzed after that. All I was thinking was here we go with Jermichael Finley all over again. For those not familiar, Finley suffered a bruised spinal cord injury in 2013 and never played another down of NFL football ever again. Davante is such a huge part of this offense so you can only pray if you’re a Packers fan that he’s going to recover in some sort of relative quick fashion, but who knows after that. For now, thank goodness he’s moving and at the moment as I’m typing this okay.

The Packers scored on the very next play and you could see Jordy Nelson wasn’t thinking about celebrating the touchdown. All that was on everyone’s mind was Adams’ health.

Just awful man. Thoughts and prayers going out to Davante and his health. Fuck you Danny Trevathan.
