A fitting end to the greatest run a meme has ever had. Actually Crying Jordan was bigger than just a meme. It was a movement on the internet. I don’t know when the Crying Jordan actually started or ended, but none of us that lived through it will ever forget it’s impact. Decades from now when the survivors of the upcoming nuclear war finally leave their bunkers and look back in history to see where everything went wrong, they will see the Crying Jordan Era of the internet as man’s last great online triumph before social media became people yelling at each other about politics and who was the bigger snowflake. They will see that the media conglomerate known as Barstool Sports, which survived the nuclear apocalypse thanks to their employees living on the newly acquired moon, had the most technologically advanced version of the meme.
