Shoutout To The Phillies Fan Who Promised Free Nuggets For Everybody After A Rhys Dinger Who Actually Followed Through

So last week Damon Miller showed up to the Phillies game against the Marlins. Before the game, he said he’d buy everyone chicken nuggets if Hoskins hit another ball to the moon. Considering Rhys is crushing dingers on a daily basis, I’d say it was ill-advised to say the least. And naturally, or super-naturally, Rhys Hoskins proceeded to blast a ball out of Citizens Bank Park last Thursday during the Phillies 10-0 win and put ol’ @Damon_Miller_Jr on the hook for about a billion nuggets.

Now obviously this could have just been another “If something happens then I’m going to do something” thing that we always see on the internet and then nobody ever follows up. Like “If Trump gets elected then I’m moving to Canada”. I’d love to see Canada’s immigration numbers because I’m willing to be nobody made that move. But not Damon Miller Jr. A man is only as good as his word and buddy over here wasn’t going to let 10 words on Twitter ruin his credibility forever.

So he showed up last night with nuggets on hand. No word on where the nuggets were from or how many nuggets he had with him. He said that he’d buy everyone chicken nuggets. Capacity for CBP is 43,651. Now there’s not a shot in hell a Phillies game in late September 2017 is going to be sold out. But does “nuggets for everybody” mean that everybody gets multiple nuggets? Or does it just mean that he’ll buy a supply of nuggets for everybody to share? If everybody is getting at least plural nuggets, then he’d have to get 87,000 nuggets just to be safe. If he just got like 100 nuggets then I guess that would be fine too. I’m just trying to figure out how much integrity he has.

Either way, he showed up to the park with those crispy nugs, got hooked up with some primetime seats from the Phils and even got himself a ball from big time Stoolie Rhys Hoskins himself.

Not a bad night. Best part of all? Claude Giroux was there to throw out the first pitch.

You know what that means…. Hockey season is back, bitches.
