Bam! A THIRD title fight has been added to UFC 217, the most stacked card of the year BY FAR. They did the same thing with UFC 205 last year, also at Madison Square Garden, with Eddie Alvarez vs Conor McGregor, Tyron Woodley vs Wonderboy Thompson, and Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz. It’s becoming pretty clear that the former custom of making International Fight Week the UFC’s “WrestleMania” is going away, and now it’s in the hands of The Mecca. Here’s this year’s comparison…

Rose Namajunas has been on the rise for a few years now, and has only hit one speedbump since losing to Carla Esparza at the Finale of The Ultimate Fighter 20, and that was Karolina Kowalkiewicz, who gave Joanna Champion an issue or two in their UFC 205 bout. She’s one of my favorite fighters in the division and I’m excited to see what she has to offer here. That being said, there is pretty much no way she wins this fight. It’s more of a “How good can she do?!”
