Quick Thots On Barstool 5th Year

First of all, thanks to everyone who is supporting the show. It’s a big step for the Young & Happy team and Barstool in general, and we appreciate everyone showing so much love.

When I think about having this show, I feel like the coolest part is that it’s vertical. When you watch it, that probably won’t be the first thing that comes to mind, but the whole episode is shot and edited vertically. All the stats say that vertical video is the way of the future. More people watch and stay watching vertical videos than they do traditional ones. I think that Barstool being on the forefront of vertical show production is foreword thinking and a continuation of staying ahead of the internet curb.

However, obviously none of that matters if the content isn’t really good, and I am really proud of how it turned out. Buddha Ben did an incredible job flipping it in a short amount of time and showcasing our brand of humor in a way that fits snapchat. When we reviewed all our footage, we felt like we had about 15-25 minutes of really strong stuff and we had to cut ties with the majority of it in order to package this show in the best way. Unfortunately, it looks like none of that stuff is ever going to make it out. So just you’ll have to use your imagination for the segment of Rone and I cat fishing with a 70-year old Georgia man.
