AUGUST 28–A Montana woman called 911 to report that she had purchased some “bad meth,” adding that the drug left a “bad taste in her mouth,” according to police. A Great Falls Police Department officer was dispatched Friday afternoon to the home of Margery Ann Dayrider, 33, who had dialed cops to report having a bad reaction to meth she had injected. As detailed in a probable cause affidavit, Dayrider told Officer Jon Marshall that she “believed she got some bad meth and was having a bad reaction to it, vomiting, tingling tongue, bad taste in her mouth.” As first reported by the Great Falls Tribune, Dayrider told the cop, “I do meth three times a day everyday and have never had this reaction before.” Dayrider said that she and her boyfriend had purchased the drug the night before and that she injected herself at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 3 PM.

This is honestly shocking news. I’m from one of the meth capitals of the world (shoutout to Iowa) and I don’ think I realized there was such thing as good meth and bad meth. To me, meth isn’t like weed where there’s different strands and quality and, apparently, flavors. I thought meth was meth. I suppose I should’ve known after watching 5 seasons of Breaking Bad and Blue Sky but it didn’t dawn on me. I thought you could give a meth head pure gasoline, watch them smoke it and they’d be like, “Damn that was some GOOD shit.” I was wrong. This story proves it. This lady was so mad and upset about her bad meth that she called the authorities. As she should have. We should probably just legalize all drugs. That sounds like a bad idea and it probably is but at least we could regulate it so people could get the safe meth every time. Regulate it, tax it, make sure people get awesome good-tasting meth and that way police officers don’t have to waste their time on calls like this. Pretty sure I just solved the war on drugs.
